What a year it has been.. and it's only November!

Biden has been announced successor to Trump.

Corona virus has changed the world.

I suffered a Pulmonary Embolism.

But...

I did spend a fortnight in Aigina, working on 'Impulse', in January.

Lockdown applied across the country..

A new woman, Lily, walked into my life, carrying her pallet in one hand and wild flower book in the other.

..the only way to have a relationship, was to live to together.. so, Lily moved in with me for 2 months (till we headed SE).

"She who shall not be named" moved out of my house in Penryn and a lady with 3 children moved in.

'Foxy' spent the summer moored off the Greenbank Hotel, so friends could use her and I could give them sailing lessons.

We drove out to Aigina, as soon as restrictions were lifted sufficiently, to permit the journey.

Lily spent 2 months with me, returning from Rhodes on 7th August.

Mike moved into my house as a PG.

I had 4 months, in Greece - because of BREXIT, it maybe the last year that will be permitted in a single chunk.

I managed to drive back from Brindisi to Cornwall, in just under 48h, using the channel tunnel train, sleeping in the car, eating the food I brought with me from Greece.. and, as a result, was not required to self-isolate for 14 days.

The UK, or rather England (Scotland, Wales & N Ireland are independent for this purpose) entered a 2nd lockdown, not as restrictive as the first.

It's only the 8th of November.. 7 or 8 more weeks left of 2020.. what a year it has been, already!

November 2013

Visited the Multihull Boat Yard in Millbrook, crawled over a 30' Woods Windsong catamaran.. noted all the issues but came away seriously interested.

Sleep deprivation.. realistic appraisal.. and made an offer subject to viewing her on the slip.

Accepted.
